Большой минус Mitchville K 9 Kennels

Продолжаем искать альтернативы. Поставили большой минус Mitchville K 9 Kennels, .т.к.:

во-первых, они, похоже, не очень ясно предстявляют себе транспортировку кошек в Австралию, т.к. считают, что могут доставить кошку от двери (в Синге) до двери (в АУ). Похоже, об австралийском карантине они ни сном ни духом, читайте сами:

Ну и еще кучу вопросов не в тему спросили

во-вторых, размеры клеток еще меньше, чем у Петмуверсов, а стоит дороже (у Петмуверсов день стоит около SG$13, с кондиционером):

Эмираты в Package 4. По срокам не понял, т.к. не разбирался. Возможно более суровые условия к карантину, прививкам и контролю в целом. Если будет инфа, кидайте, рассмотрим и мы. Цены взял с сайта эмиратского отеля (ссылка выше). При пересчете на русские получилось больше раза в два...

Спасибо за ссылку. Перечень разрешенных стран обширный. В любом питомнике животное будет страдать полгода в клетке. Хотелось бы вместе с ними пожить 6 месяцев в какой-нибудь недорогой восточно-европейской стране из перечня. Но как
это реально осуществить с прививками, тестами и пр. Напишите, кто имеет такой опыт, пожалуйста.

Ребята, я понимаю, проторенными путями идти легче. Информация о карантине собаки в Дубае, полученная мной лично:

First of all, your dog must be microchipped, fully vaccinated and rabies blood tested to enter UAE. I cannot get an import permit without scanned copies of these documents.

Import charges will be AED 2,900. I am attaching information on importing pets into UAE.

On arrival in UAE she will have to be re-vaccinated and again rabies blood tested. The rabies blood test date is the important date. That is the date which the clock starts ticking. She cannot travel for a minimum of 60 days after this test. She will qualify for 30 days quarantine in Perth when the rabies blood test is 150 days old.

Snoopy Pets does not have kennels. I usually use Posh Paws. (www.poshpawsdubai.com) Their daily boarding charge is AED 70 per day but they may offer a discount for long stays.

The export charges for your dog to travel from Dubai to Perth will be as follows:

· AED 7200 – approx airfreight charges
· AED 550 – Ministry fees in Dubai
· AED 1350 – AQIS Import Permit application fee (subject to rate of exchange)
· AED 600 – private veterinary fees within 04 days of departure
· AED 5600 – service fee

The total comes to AED 15,300.

В пересчете на рубли (проверила на конвертере валюты) будет 126.500.00 руб., а в Синге за все надо платить за проживание (4.900.00 синг.долларов) или 104.700.00 руб. + оформление док. 8.120.00 руб. Цена получается такая же. Фотки загрузила, как видно есть выгулочные плошадки и кошки не живут скученно по 10 штук в клетке.

Живу в Перте три года, я сама узнавала в Байфорте про карантин для прибывших животных из Дубая, Сингапура и Израиля - это один месяц.

Да, сейчас тест требуют для ввоза в Синг, раньше не надо было.

В Ау-карантине животное из Дубаи будет сидеть в зависимости от даты сдачи теста, это в лучшем случае да, 30 дней. (" She will qualify for 30 days quarantine in Perth when the rabies blood test is 150 days old"). Т.е. тем, кто будут в Дубаи отдавать, нужно проследить, чтобы вовремя взяли тест.
Как я поняла из офиц.пдф, животные из Синга тест не сдают и сидят в ау ровно 30 дней.

Еще в цену не забывайте добавить карго до Дубаи (не всем это по пути получается).

Фотки еще не посмотрела, но надо просить фотки именно клеток, в которых кошки сидят. Они в любом питомнике будут сидеть в своей территории, кучей не сидят. Когда кучей - это просто они на выгуле, как я понимаю.
PS: посмотрела - угу, вроде в хорошей комнатке живут.

Про другие питомники конечно пишите, это только в пользу, думаю народ сам разберется что кому больше подходит.

Да, все написано ясно:
Экспорт плата за вашу собаку путешествие из Дубая в Перте будет следующим:

· AED 7200 - приблизительные Авиаперевозки
· AED 550 - Министерство сборов в Дубае
· AED 1350 - AQIS Import Permit (разрешение на импорт, сбор с учетом обменного курса)
· AED 600 - частных ветеринарных плату в течение 04 дней до вылета

Всего доходит до 15300 дирхам.

Сегодня ответили (правда, с недельной задержкой) еще Mutts and Mittens.
По цене - дешевле, чем у Петмуверс. Прислали фотографию (http://www.gday.ru/forum/attachment....1&d=1263349431) - практически как в Сембаванговаском гос. карантине, т.е. очень даже хорошо.
На следующей неделе сама буду в Сингапуре, зайду к ним.
Вот, собственно, их ответ:

Westisland, у меня тоже такое подозрение закралось, но я забыла спросить у них, а т.к. они еще на мое последнее письмо не ответли (не слишком-то они оперативны чего-то), то, наверное, уже на месте спрошу. Я вернусь из Синга в следующую субботу, тогда и выложу подробный отчет (надеюсь, с фотографиями - если дадут поснимать) обо всех, кого успею там посетить.
Если кто-то списался с кем-то еще из Сингапуровских питомников, напишите заранее (я в понедельник вылетаю), я постараюсь туда зайти, если время позволит.

Ericsson Pet Farm (Singapore). Cудебный процесс (статья)

Насторожил еще вот какой момент, правда, это к собакам относится, но кто его знает, может, для кошек тоже есть какой-то вирус, который до трех-шести месяцев может в помещении жить:

She does research, takes photos to prove puppy's death not her fault

SHE decided to get a pet to share a common interest with her teenage son despite her fear of dogs.


When she saw a three-month-old Japanese spitz at Ericsson Pet Farm, she was instantly smitten.

But her joy was short-lived. The cuddly puppy, which she named Sparky, died eight days later.

Wealth manager Pheabe Chau, in her 40s, was in grief. But through resourcefulness and determination, she made a case against the pet farm, took it to court and won.

Together with the cost of the puppy, dog food and other items, she had paid almost $4,000 on 12 Aug last year. The Small Claims Tribunal awarded her the cost of the puppy, which was $2,500.

She was certain she did not cause Sparky's death and wanted a refund. But the pet farm refused, citing the sales agreement that states the farm cannot be held responsible once the animal is outside its premises.

But Ms Chau would not take no for an answer. Representing herself, she went to the tribunal to get her money back.

She asked for an autopsy from the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority and discovered that Sparky had died of parvovirus, a type of virus that can be fatal to animals.

She said she spent about a month - an hour every week night and at least 12 hours a day on weekends - doing research online.

She looked through the websites of several medical centres and medical associations, and discovered that:

* parvovirus has an incubation period of seven to 14 days before symptoms show;
* parvovirus is spread through direct contact with contaminated dog faeces and;
* puppies do not always respond to vaccinations for parvovirus.


Ms Chau applied her presentation skills as an investment adviser and compiled a comprehensive 41-page document to prove her case in court.

Her document included highlighted excerpts from websites about parvovirus, a timeline proving that Sparky could not have been infected while in her or the vet's care, and a point-by-point rebuttal of every single argument by the pet farm, represented by its director, Mr Eric Lim, 50. Ms Chau even took photographs of the dogs at Ericsson Pet Farm, including one showing two dogs licking dog faeces in a corner.

'Rational person'
Eventually, she won the case, spending only $10 on legal fees in the process.

She told The New Paper: 'I'm a very rational person. I thought that by doing everything I needed to do, I would be able to keep my pet well and happy.

'Some things are just out of my control, I guess.'

Why did she go through all that trouble?

Ms Chau said: 'I wanted the dog farm to know about my case so it can do something to prevent similar deaths in the future.

'Sparky suffered a lot in those last few days. It would just look at me, looking miserable.'

She said she would dream about Sparky suffering and wake up in tears.

Winning the case helped provide some closure.

She said: 'I think there are two ways to deal with pain - run away or face it. I chose to face it. It's the only way I can move on. It was no longer a matter of whether I got the money back or not.

Complaints about the pet industry have been on the rise over the years.

Last year, the Consumer Association of Singapore received 83 such complaints. In 2005, it saw only 30 cases.

Last month alone, at least three complaints against unscrupulous pet farms have surfaced on Internet pet forums, The Straits Times reported. All cases involved improperly vaccinated puppies which were sold and died soon afterwards.

Ms Chau doesn't have any pets now because she fears the parvovirus is still active in her home.

A vet, who did not want to be named, said this was possible. He advised that such places be disinfected several times and that no pets be reintroduced for three to six months.

After buying Sparky, Ms Chau took four days leave to spend time with it at home. She even referred to Sparky as 'my son' and 'my baby'.

She said: 'In eight days, I went from fearing Sparky to loving it to grieving over it. It was an emotional roller coaster.'

I however would not recommend anyone to board their cat there as cats who have boarded there have fallen sick or died before

The dogs for sale – usually males – are often sick, disabled, skinny and sad. The breeding backyard is maintained below-par and does not provide even the minimum care required for healthy pets. I would not recommend anyone to buy pets from this farm

The dog shelter is well maintained for dogs that are meant for adoption; however the staff was rather cold and unfriendly and did not offer to help or answer any of our queries. We were also not allowed to enter and mingle with the dogs for adoption, unlike SPCA where prospective adopters are allowed to enter the kennel to interact with the dogs.

Ericsson Pet Farm (Ericsson Pet Farm - Pets Magazine (Singapore))

The sales staff are more motivated by sales profits than promoting love for pets and animal welfare. The products are also not cheap. The dogs kept in the breeding area are not well-taken care of. I would not recommend anyone to buy pets or products from this farm.
